Waterford Place HOA. A Great Place to Live in Germantown, Maryland
About Us

Waterford Place is a 70-home community located conveniently between I-270 and Germantown Town Center.  It is a quiet community with lots of green space, especially compared to newer townhome developments. And with an entrance at the middle of our community, our one road was designed with a cul-de-sac at each end, so there is no pass through traffic.
While Waterford Place residents are moments away from I-270, other commuter options are also nearby.  Germantown's bus transit center is within walking distance, and the 100 bus runs Express service to Shady Grove metro. Local bus stops are also at our entrance and across the street to take you across town or to the transit center. The MARC train Germantown station is nearby as well.
Waters Landing Elementary School is just across the street from us, and the bus stop for students attending Martin Luther King Middle School is on the corner of Locbury and Waters Landing. Seneca Valley High School is undergoing a full rebuilding project, and the new school is projected to open September 2020. Montgomery College's Germantown campus is nearby as well.
Germantown offers many amenities. BlackRock Center for the Arts hosts local and touring performances, offers classes in visual and performance arts, and houses an art gallery. We have a library right in Town Center. Restaurants, both quick-serve and full service, are readily available. Grocery choices include Giant, Safeway, Wegmans, Lotte, Aldi, Wal-Mart, and Target. For other shopping, there's Germantown Town Center, Milestone, and the outlets at Clarksburg. For the outdoor enthusiast, we are located close to many parks. Some include: Black Hills Regional Park, Ridge Road Recreational Park, and Seneca Creek State Park.
Of course, staying home is nice too here at Waterford Place!
